El Consejo de Ministros ha anunciado, tras tres años desde el inicio de la pandemia del COVID-19, que la crisis sanitaria ha llegado a su fin y que las medidas extraordinarias adoptadas para hacer frente a esta situación de emergencia ya no son necesarias. En consecuencia, se ha eliminado la obligatoriedad de usar mascarillas en los espacios donde aún se exigía su uso. Sin embargo, es importante tener en cuenta que todavía existen más de 20 países que mantienen requisitos de vacunación o pruebas diagnósticas, y en muchos de ellos la mascarilla sigue siendo obligatoria en determinados lugares. Aunque ya no sea obligatorio el uso de mascarillas en España, se recomienda seguir utilizándolas en determinadas situaciones.
