Uruguay llevará a cabo una huelga general parcial con movilización, convocada por el Pit-Cnt en conmemoración del 51° aniversario de la huelga general que tuvo lugar en 1973 como respuesta al golpe de Estado. Esta acción afectará diversos servicios públicos en todo el país.
La Unión Nacional de Obreros y Trabajadores del Transporte (Unott) ha comunicado su participación en la movilización organizada por la central sindical, aunque han asegurado que los servicios de transporte no se verán interrumpidos.
Sin embargo, el Sindicato Único de Automóviles con Taxímetro y Telefonistas (Suatt) ha anunciado que los servicios de taxi se suspenderán de 09:00 a 13:00 hora local. Esto afectará a la movilidad en Montevideo y otras ciudades importantes del país.
– Se recomienda a los viajeros planificar sus desplazamientos con antelación y buscar alternativas de transporte durante el horario de la huelga.
– Es aconsejable mantenerse informado mediante las actualizaciones de las autoridades locales y los sindicatos sobre el estado del transporte público.
– Aquellos viajeros que lleguen al Aeropuerto Internacional de Carrasco (MVD) en Montevideo deben tener en cuenta este paro.
– Los viajeros con destino a otras regiones, como el Aeropuerto Internacional de Punta del Este (PDP) en Maldonado y el Aeropuerto de Salto (STY), también deben estar atentos a posibles interrupciones en los servicios de transporte.
