Italia. Huelga de transporte público en Roma afectará las conexiones el 28 de octubre.
El próximo 28 de octubre, los trabajadores del transporte público en Roma, organizados por los sindicatos OSR USB Lavoro Privato y OrSA TPL, realizarán una huelga de 24 horas, afectando tanto a los viajeros locales como a aquellos que dependen del transporte público para desplazarse hacia y desde los principales aeropuertos de la región.
La huelga afectará a los autobuses urbanos, tranvías y al servicio de metro, gestionados por la empresa ATAC. Sin embargo, se han establecido bandas horarias de garantía para asegurar un funcionamiento mínimo durante las horas punta. Estas franjas garantizadas serán de 05:30 a 08:30 hora local y de 17:00 a 20:00 horas, por lo que los viajeros podrán contar con estos servicios en dichos intervalos. Fuera de estas horas, es probable que se produzcan interrupciones entre las 08:30 y las 17:00, y desde las 20:00 hasta el final del servicio diurno.
Las líneas de autobús nocturno, también se verán afectadas. Aquellas que operan entre la medianoche y las 05:30 del 28 de octubre corren el riesgo de ser canceladas. Sin embargo, las líneas diurnas que realizan su último recorrido a las 02:00 de la madrugada (entre el 27 y el 28 de octubre) estarán garantizadas. Durante la noche del 28 al 29 de octubre, las líneas nocturnas operarán con normalidad.
Las principales conexiones con el Aeropuerto Internacional de Roma-Fiumicino (FCO) no se verán directamente afectadas por la huelga de ATAC, ya que las líneas regionales Cotral y los ferrocarriles, funcionarán con normalidad.
El Aeropuerto de Roma-Ciampino (CIA) también podría verse afectado indirectamente por la huelga de transporte público, ya que muchos viajeros utilizan el metro y los autobuses urbanos para acceder al aeropuerto. Las alteraciones en el servicio de ATAC pueden dificultar el acceso a las estaciones que conectan con los servicios hacia Ciampino.
Además de la huelga de ATAC, habrá otro paro de cuatro horas -de 12:00 a 16:00 horas- por parte de los empleados de Trotta Bus Services, quienes operan en el aeropuerto de Fiumicino (FCO). Esto podría causar demoras en los servicios de autobuses dentro del aeropuerto y hacia la ciudad en ese horario.
– Se aconseja a los viajeros que tengan previsto desplazarse por Roma el 28 de octubre que planifiquen sus trayectos con antelación, especialmente si necesitan trasladarse hacia o desde los aeropuertos Fiumicino (FCO) o Ciampino (CIA). Aquellos que viajen durante las horas no cubiertas por las bandas de garantía deberían considerar alternativas como taxis, servicios de transporte privado o reservar alojamiento cerca de los aeropuertos si tienen vuelos tempranos o tardíos.

On 28 October, public transport workers in Rome, organised by the OSR USB Lavoro Privato and OrSA TPL unions, will strike for 24 hours, affecting both local commuters and those who rely on public transport to travel to and from the region’s main airports.
The strike will affect city buses, trams and the metro service, run by ATAC. However, guarantee time bands have been established to ensure minimum operation during peak hours. These guaranteed bands will be from 05:30 to 08:30 local time and from 17:00 to 20:00, so passengers will be able to count on these services at these intervals.
