The ash plume from La Palma is threatening the airport operation of Tenerife North; some flights have been diverted to Tenerife South as consequence and operation of the North airport remains questionable in the coming hours. 

Individuals in or traveling near the affected areas are advised to monitor developments to the situation and anticipate flight diversions and disruptions (e.g. delays and cancelations) in the event of further eruptions.
