Spain extends land border closure with Morocco by 15 days
The Spanish government announced on Saturday extending the closure of Ceuta and Melilla land borders with Morocco for an additional 15 days.
The extension will take effect from 12:00 a.m. on May 1 until 12:00 p.m. on May 15, and may be prolonged if circumstances change, according to a decree published this Saturday in the Official State Gazette.
Ferries resumed between Morocco and Spain this month, with the first Spanish vessel docking in Tangiers port on April 12th after two years.
