CP – Comboios de Portugal have announced that “significant disruptions” are expected in train circulation on Monday, due to the 24-hour strike by railway workers.

Due to the strike, significant disruptions are expected at a national level in all services, on May 16, 2022, with a possible impact on the days after the strike period. CP also informed that customers who already have tickets purchased to travel on Alfa Pendular, Intercidades, Internacional, InterRegional and Regional trains may request a refund of the total ticket price or its revalidation. The strike takes place between 00:00 and 24:00.
