Due to forest fires, there have been precautionary evacuations in several villages in Silves and a section of the highway connecting Lisbon to the Algarve was closed. Fire danger on July 26 is extreme to very extreme over the eastern Algarve (including Silves), while July 27-28 is very high to extreme over the Algarve.

El 25 de julio se declaró un incendio forestal en el Parque Nacional de la Suiza de Bohemia, cerca del municipio de Hrensko (norte de la República Checa, cerca de la frontera con Alemania). Varios centenares de personas han sido evacuadas y se ha abierto un albergue en el municipio de Decín. Durante la noche del 25 de julio, las operaciones de extinción de incendios se centraron en la protección inmediata de los municipios de Hrensko, Mezná, Mezní Louka y Janov. On July 25, a forest fire broke out in the Bohemian Switzerland National Park near the municipality of Hrensko (northern Czech Republic, near the German border). Several hundred people have been evacuated and a shelter has been opened in the municipality of Decín. During the night of July 25, firefighting operations focused on the immediate protection of the municipalities of Hrensko, Mezná, Mezní Louka and Janov. The fire danger on July 27 is mostly high in the area affected by the forest fire and high to very high in the west of the Czech Republic.

Un terremoto de 5,7 M (5,2 M según las autoridades nacionales) a una profundidad de 10 km se produjo en el norte de Ecuador, cerca de la frontera con Colombia, el 25 de julio a las 13:33 UTC (08:33 hora local). El epicentro se situó en la provincia de Carchi, a unos 5 km al suroeste de la ciudad de San Gabriel. Las autoridades nacionales están prestando ayuda de emergencia a los afectados.

A 5.7 M earthquake (5.2 M according to national authorities) at a depth of 10 km occurred in northern Ecuador, near the Colombian border, on 25 July at 13:33 UTC (08:33 local time). The epicenter was located in the province of Carchi, about 5 km southwest of the town of San Gabriel. National authorities are providing emergency assistance to those affected.
