Due to planned industrial action, Elizabeth line services to and from Heathrow will be disrupted on 12 and 13 January.
Only two trains will run per hour on the routes from Paddington to Reading, Paddington to Maidenhead, and Paddington to Heathrow Terminal 4. Passengers are advised to use Heathrow Express and Piccadilly line services for journeys to and from Heathrow, which will be running as normal.
Commuters have been warned of disruptions if the scheduled Thursday strike proceeds, though TFL notes short-notice cancellations and changes.
No service will run in the central section of the Elizabeth line, between Paddington and Abbey Wood. There will be limited services between Liverpool Street and Shenfield, as well as between Paddington to Heathrow/Reading.
On Friday, January 13 no service from Abbey Wood to Paddington until about 7:30am. Trains will run before 7:30 to and from Paddington and Liverpool Street National Rail platforms. Normal service will resume from 9am.
Potentially affected individuals are advised to monitor developments to the situation, maintain a flexible travel itinerary, and anticipate transportation disruptions and residual delays.
