On February 17, UK Airport Border Staff will strike once more

Operations of the Border Force will be impacted by Civil Service industrial action, according to the Public and Commercial Services (PCS) union.
Between February 17 and February 20, 2023, travelers who intend to enter the UK may have to wait longer at border check.
Suggested dates for the Border Force strike: February 17, 18, 19 and 20.(until 7am). All airports will be affected, mainly Heathrow in order, followed by Gatwick, Manchester, Stansted and Edinburgh.
Locations: The following ports will be affected by the proposed strike action for both passengers and cargo entering the UK:
Calais Port, The Dunkirk port, Coquelles Tunnel to the Channel and Dover Port. You should plan ahead and check before you travel if you are entering the UK through one of these ports.

In the event of probable strike action, military personnel, government employees, and volunteers are being trained to assist Border Force at airports and ports throughout the UK.

Before leaving, please check with your operator, be ready for delays, and carefully arrange your movements if they fall on a strike day.
