France. Air traffic controllers’ strike continues. Toulouse. Public transport strike 18 April.

Eurocontrol has published the mitigation plan for the air traffic controllers’ strike which will affect the airports of Paris, Reims, Bordeaux, Brest, Nice, Marseille, Aix-en-Provence where the agency foresees a major impact although minimum services are being maintained. It is also expected to have an impact on routes between France and Madrid, Lisbon, Gran Canarias, Geneva, Tunis, Corsica, Algeria as well as routes to the United States.

A major mobilisation is expected which may prevent the use of public transport including Metro, buses and trams. The transport company «Tisséo» recommends on its website to avoid travel or use alternative mobility measures.
