Italy (Europe) Air Dolimiti strike and other strikes.
The unions Filt Cgil, Fit Cisl and Uiltrasporti have announced a 4-hour national strike on Wednesday 3 May for all Air Dolomiti cabin crew.
Two significant strikes are expected to affect mobility on 30 April and 1 May, including buses, trams, metro, rail throughout Italy.
Flights and airports will also be affected by workers’ demonstrations during May.
1 May: National strike that will also affect Italian airport staff.
3 May: Staff of several airlines will protest for 4 hours (from 13:00 to 17:00) such as Air Dolomiti and Vueling. But there is also the regional strike of Genoa airport staff (from 13:00 to 17:00).
19 May: 24-hour strike by Air Dolomiti flight staff. The same goes for Orio al Serio (Bergamo) airport handling, airport handling service workers and employees of air transport and related companies. Securtiy Unisecur staff will also strike all day at Milan Malpensa airport.
19 May: Different duration (4 hours from 13:00 to 17:00) for the national strike of Volotea staff.
The airline sector, on the other hand, is excluded from the general strike planned for 26 May for the transport sector. In addition, unlike the other companies mentioned so far, there are no strikes by Ryanair, WizzAir or Easyjet staff for the time being.
