El incendio declarado en Tenerife durante la noche del 15 de agosto en los municipios de Arafo y Candelaria continúa descontrolado, generando preocupación en la población local y en los que planean viajar a esta isla. A medida que las autoridades trabajan incansablemente para controlar la situación, se han emitido una serie de recomendaciones de viaje destinadas a garantizar la seguridad.
La Dirección General de Emergencias ha tomado la drástica medida de ordenar el desalojo del Parador Nacional de El Teide como una medida preventiva para proteger la vida y el entorno. Hasta el momento, se ha informado que un total de 12.000 personas han sido desalojadas de diferentes áreas afectadas por el incendio.
