México. Situación de inseguridad en el estado de Chiapas
El Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores de España ha emitido hoy un aviso respecto a la creciente inseguridad en el estado de Chiapas (TGZ), que limita con la República de Guatemala. Durante los últimos meses, se ha observado un deterioro significativo en la seguridad, especialmente en las regiones fronterizas. Esta situación ha llevado a las autoridades a desaconsejar, por el momento y hasta nuevo aviso, las visitas a las zonas turísticas dentro de este estado.

Los aeropuertos en la región, incluyendo el Aeropuerto Internacional Ángel Albino Corzo (TGZ) en Tuxtla Gutiérrez, siguen operando con normalidad, pero se recomienda a los viajeros reconsiderar sus planes de viaje hacia y dentro del estado de Chiapas. Se aconseja a aquellos que necesiten desplazarse por la zona hacerlo con precaución, informarse continuamente sobre el estado de seguridad y seguir todas las recomendaciones emitidas por las autoridades locales y sus respectivas embajadas o consulados.

Mexico. Situation of insecurity in the state of Chiapas
The Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has today issued a warning regarding the growing insecurity in the state of Chiapas (TGZ), which borders the Republic of Guatemala. Over the last few months, a significant deterioration in security has been observed, especially in the border regions. This situation has led the authorities to discourage, for the time being and until further notice, visits to tourist areas within the state.

Airports in the region, including Angel Albino Corzo International Airport (TGZ) in Tuxtla Gutierrez, continue to operate normally, but travellers are advised to reconsider their travel plans to and within the state of Chiapas. Those who need to travel in the area are advised to do so with caution, to be continuously informed about the security situation and to follow all recommendations issued by local authorities and their respective embassies or consulates.
