Los sindicatos de control de tráfico aéreo en Francia han retirado el aviso de huelga que estaba programado entre el 9 y el 11 de mayo, coincidiendo con el puente de la Ascensión. Esta medida evitará las interrupciones previstas en todos los aeropuertos del país, garantizando el normal funcionamiento del tráfico aéreo nacional e internacional durante uno de los fines de semana más concurridos.
La huelga habría afectado significativamente a los principales aeropuertos de Francia, incluyendo el de París-Charles de Gaulle (CDG), París-Orly (ORY), Niza (NCE) y Lyon (LYS).
Sin embargo, aún persiste la huelga de los vuelos operados por Vueling, una de las principales aerolíneas españolas de bajo coste. El paro del personal francés de esta compañía afectará a la cancelación de numerosos vuelos hacia y desde Francia desde el 8 hasta el 12 de mayo. La base principal de Vueling en Francia se localiza en el aeropuerto de París Orly (ORY), siendo este el más afectado, aunque también operan en París-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) y otros seis aeropuertos franceses.
– Se recomienda a los viajeros con planes de vuelo durante estas fechas verificar el estado de sus vuelos directamente con la aerolínea.

Air traffic control unions in France have withdrawn the strike notice that was scheduled to take place between 9 and 11 May, coinciding with the Ascension long weekend. However, the strike still continues for flights operated by Vueling, one of Spain’s leading low-cost airlines. The strike by Vueling’s French staff will affect the cancellation of numerous flights to and from France from 8 to 12 May. Vueling’s main base in France is at Paris Orly Airport (ORY), which is the most affected, although they also operate out of Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and six other French airports.
