Alemania. Interrupciones en el tráfico ferroviario de larga distancia en el sur.
Las recientes inundaciones han causado importantes interrupciones en los servicios de trenes de larga distancia en el sur de Alemania, afectando significativamente a la región de Múnich (MUC). Deutsche Bahn, la compañía encargada de la mayoría del tráfico ferroviario del país, ha recomendado evitar viajar hacia y desde el sur, especialmente desde ciudades como Stuttgart, Würzburg y Nuremberg, las cuales han visto cancelados sus servicios hacia Múnich.
Entre las rutas afectadas se encuentran Múnich – Núremberg – Erfurt – Berlín; Karlsruhe – Stuttgart – Ulm – Augsburgo – Múnich; Stuttgart – Mannheim – Frankfurt. Los viajes entre Múnich y Zúrich a través de Lindau y Bregenz también han sido interrumpidos, al igual que las conexiones entre Augsburgo, Kempten y Oberstdorf.
Debido a estas interrupciones, Deutsche Bahn ha flexibilizado sus políticas de viaje, permitiendo a los viajeros con billetes para viajar entre el 2 y el 4 de junio de 2024 posponer sus viajes sin penalización. Los billetes seguirán siendo válidos para las rutas originales aunque estas sean alteradas, y las reservas de asientos podrán ser canceladas sin coste.

Germany. Disruptions to long-distance rail traffic in the south.
Recent flooding has caused major disruptions to long-distance train services in southern Germany, significantly affecting the Munich region (MUC). Deutsche Bahn, the company in charge of most of the country’s rail traffic, has recommended avoiding travel to and from the south, especially from cities such as Stuttgart, Würzburg and Nuremberg, all of which have had their services to Munich cancelled.
Routes affected include Munich – Nuremberg – Erfurt – Berlin; Karlsruhe – Stuttgart – Ulm – Augsburg – Munich; Stuttgart – Mannheim – Frankfurt. Journeys between Munich and Zurich via Lindau and Bregenz have also been disrupted, as have connections between Augsburg, Kempten and Oberstdorf.
