Los trabajadores del transporte urbano en León y Ponferrada han convocado una huelga que se desarrollará en 14 jornadas durante los meses de febrero y marzo. Los paros afectarán a las líneas de autobuses urbanos en ambas ciudades, aunque quedarán exentas las rutas interurbanas que conectan estos núcleos con otras localidades del entorno.
La huelga se llevará a cabo en días alternos, iniciándose el viernes 14 de febrero y continuando los días 17, 19, 25 y 27. En marzo, los paros están previstos para los días 5, 10, 12, 14, 18, 20, 24, 26 y 28. A partir del 1 de abril, la movilización pasará a ser indefinida.
Los paros tendrán lugar en franjas horarias específicas:
– Mañana: de 07:45 a 08:15 horas.
– Mediodía: de 14:15 a 14:45 y de 15:15 a 15:45 horas.
– Tarde: de 20:15 a 20:45 horas.
Además, se han convocado concentraciones de trabajadores en las entradas de los Ayuntamientos de León y Ponferrada, así como en las principales paradas de autobús de ambas ciudades.
La huelga afectará a los desplazamientos dentro de León y Ponferrada, lo que podría generar retrasos para los viajeros que necesiten trasladarse a los aeropuertos cercanos. León cuenta con el Aeropuerto de León (LEN), que opera vuelos nacionales. En Ponferrada, al no disponer de un aeropuerto propio, los viajeros dependen del transporte terrestre para llegar a los aeropuertos más cercanos, como el Aeropuerto de Asturias (OVD) y el Aeropuerto de Santiago de Compostela (SCQ).
