La nube de cenizas provocado por la erupción del volcán Cumbre Vieja, ha provocado retrasos de hasta tres horas esta madrugada, en los vuelos procedentes de Gran Canaria y Tenerife, pero la normalidad ya ha vuelto al aeropuerto.
La presencia de ceniza en gran parte del cielo provocó algunos retrasos en las conexiones aéreas con la isla de La Palma desde Gran Canaria y Tenerife. Hasta el momento, la actividad del volcán no ha cerrado el espacio aéreo, pero se ha activado un protocolo de vigilancia por el riesgo de afectar las operaciones aéreas.
Sin embargo, la compañía Binter está operando con normalidad y durante la mañana se recuperará la regularidad de los vuelos tras los primeros retrasos. Los vuelos internacionales también están programados a tiempo.
Este jueves la ceniza se está extendiendo por gran parte de La Palma y se puede ver desde diferentes puntos de la isla.
