Updated Requirements for Air Travelers to the U.S. due to COVID-19
The following entry regulations apply for travelers to the United States of America:
Fully vaccinated travelers must have:
1. a COVID-19 vaccination certificate, stating the traveler is fully vaccinated and has received the final dose at least 14 days before departure.
2. a negative COVID-19 test result, issued within 3 days before departure. Accepted tests are viral antigen, NAAT (RT-LAMP, RT-PCR), NEAR, HAD or TMA.
3. a completed and printed disclosure and attestation form .
Travelers, recovered from a previous COVID-19 infection must have:
1. a COVID-19 vaccination certificate, stating the traveler is fully vaccinated and has received the final dose at least 14 days before departure. Attention: Having received only one dose of a vaccine that usually requires two doses (e.g. Moderna, Pfizer/Biontech) is not sufficient to be viewed as fully vaccinated. Full vaccination with two doses are required!
2. a medical certificate with a positive test result conducted on a specimen collected no more than 90 days before departure from the first embarkation point AND a letter issued by a health authority stating that the passenger has been cleared for travel.
3. a completed and printed disclosure and attestation form.
