Austrian authorities will tighten domestic restrictions imposed to combat the spread of COVID-19. Austria has one of the continent’s highest infection rates, with a seven-day incidence of 815 per 100,000 people. From Nov. 15, individuals without a certificate of vaccination or recovery will only be permitted to leave their homes for essential purposes such as buying groceries, for health appointments, or travel for school. The measure does not apply to children under the age of 12. Individuals who have received one dose of the vaccine and possess a negative result from a recent PCR are exempt until Dec. 6. This measure is provisionally in place until Nov. 24.
As of Monday non-essential shops, where no such passes are required, will be off-limits to the unvaccinated, but the only checks will be spot checks by the police

Netherlands returns to partial lockdown amid COVID-19 surge. The Netherlands will return to a partial lockdown from Saturday after the government ordered restaurants and shops to close early and barred spectators from major sporting events in an effort to contain a rapid surge in COVID-19 cases. Supermarkets and non-essential retailers will also close earlier and social distancing measures will be reimposed. The number of recommended no more than four visitors at home.

12 EU Countries Now Accept Covaxin as Valid Proof of Immunity for Travel. Still, soon after the World Health Organization (WHO) disclosed that Covaxin had been officially approved for use, 12 EU countries automatically accepted the vaccine as valid proof of immunity for travel. All of the EU/Schengen Area countries listed below now recognise Covaxin as valid proof of immunity against the COVID-19:
