Tras el incidente del domingo en Liverpool (14 de noviembre), el Centro Conjunto de Análisis del Terrorismo (JTAC) ha tomado la decisión de elevar el Nivel Nacional de Amenaza del Reino Unido de SUSTANCIAL, que significa que es probable que se produzca un atentado, a SEVERO, que significa que es muy probable que se produzca un atentado.
¿Cuáles son los diferentes niveles de amenaza terrorista?
Hay cinco niveles de amenaza terrorista en el Reino Unido:
bajo: un atentado es muy improbable
moderado: un atentado es posible pero no probable
considerable: un atentado es probable
grave: es muy probable que se produzca un atentado
crítico: es muy probable que se produzca un atentado en un futuro próximo.
El nivel es establecido por el Centro Conjunto de Análisis del Terrorismo y el Servicio de Seguridad (MI5). Los niveles de amenaza pueden cambiar en cualquier momento a medida que se dispone de información diferente.

The UK National Threat Level has been raised from substantial to SEVERE. Following Sunday’s incident in Liverpool (14 November), the Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre (JTAC) has taken the decision to raise the UK National Threat Level from SUBSTANTIAL, meaning an attack is likely, to SEVERE, meaning an attack is highly likely.
What are the different terror threat levels?
There are five levels of terror threat in the UK:
low – an attack is highly unlikely
moderate – an attack is possible but not likely
substantial – an attack is likely
severe – an attack is highly likely
critical – an attack is highly likely in the near future
The level is set by the Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre and the Security Service (MI5). Threat levels can change at any time as different information becomes available.
Remain alert and report any suspicious activity or objects to the security forces. Maintain flexible schedules to allow for short-notice security-related disruptions.
