ITALY. Double strike in Milan on 15 and 25 February: metro, buses, trams, trams and trains affected. Strike at Milan’s Linate and Malpensa airports on 18 February.
A double protest is coming to Milan on Tuesday 15 and Friday 25 February. Bus, tram, ATM and Trenord train services are expected to be affected.
The strike of February 15 will affect workers from all public and private sectors. On 25 February, on the other hand, it will be the turn of the national strike of local public transport workers. The protest will only affect metro, bus and tram for 24 hours.
Confirm all transport reservations and appointments for the dates concerned. Check public transport schedules and local traffic conditions for disruptions before beginning journeys; allow extra time for travel and consider alternative means of transport if necessary.
Some aviation unions, have called a 24-hour strike affecting employees of SEA, the firm that manages the Linate and Malpensa airports. Industrial action is planned on 18 February.
