The Verdi services union has called on the security staff at Düsseldorf Airport to go on strike on Friday, 25.02.2022, from 3 a.m. to midnight. Disruptions to flight and handling operations are to be expected. 

Before you arrive at the airport, please check with your airline or tour operator about the current status of your flight.

Even if your flight is not canceled, significant delays at the security control are to be expected.
Travelers are advised to confirm the status of their flights prior to departure as a precaution. Please reduce your hand luggage to a minimum in order to speed up the checks.
