Normally, the metro runs between 06:30 and 01:00. The workers of Rodoviária de Lisboa (RL) have called for a public nationwide strike starting on Monday, May 2. The strike on Monday 2 May will last 24 hours, starting at 3:00 am. Currently, Rodoviária de Lisboa, a road passenger transport company, operates in the municipalities of Lisbon, Loures, Odivelas and Vila Franca de Xira, all in the district of Lisbon, serving around 400 thousand inhabitants, and carrying 200 thousand passengers per day.
