All Barcelona airport terminals fully operational after two years of pandemic
All Barcelona airport terminals are, as of Tuesday, once again fully operational after two years marked by pandemic-related closures and a decrease in travel,
Terminal T2C reopened on May 24, as did T2B’s M and R modules, for the first time since the pandemic hit.
Aena, the Spanish airport authority that oversees Barcelona’s El Prat, also reopened the refurbished three-storey T1 wing for large aircraft used, including those used for intercontinental flights.
The first and third floor will be for Schengen area flights, while the second floor will be for non-Schengen arrivals and departures.
