Paris. Large number of cancellations due to strike June 9
Because of security staff strikes, a quarter of flights flying from Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly tomorrow morning (June 9) will be canceled.
The cancellations are in response to a request by the Direction Générale de l’Aviation Civile, which asked airlines to adjust their flight itineraries in order to avoid strike-related delays.
Passengers affected by the cancellations will be relocated to other flights, according to Paris Aéroport, which oversees both airports.
Customers affected by Air France’s revised itinerary will be notified immediately and given the option to postpone their trip if they so desire.
Passengers are advised to arrive three hours ahead of time for foreign flights. Passengers are also encouraged to check in online to avoid excessive lines at the airport.
