France: Bordeaux Airport workers plan to go on four-day strike from 8 July
The Force Ouvrière union is calling on staff at Bordeaux-Mérignac airport to stop working for four days, from Friday 8 to Monday 11 July
Striking workers also plan to picket at the airport’s Gate 3, Terminal A, from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. on 8 July.
The strike is expected to cause significant flight disruptions.
In addition, a strike plan has been filed for 11 July at Lynx Sécurité, which handles airport security for hold luggage. A strike that could disrupt the check-in of passengers’ luggage.
Passengers flying to the affected airport are advised to check flight status before travel.
