Vueling cabin crew in Spain call for strikes from November 1 to January 31, 2023
Vueling’s cabin crew have called strikes every Friday, Sunday, Monday and holidays between November 1 and January 31, 2023, in addition to walkouts on November 1st, 6th, and 8th, December 24th and 31st, and January 5th, 2023. This would amount to a total of 45 days of striking, affecting 50% of days within the three-month period.
The affected days will be:
November – 1st, 4th, 6th, 7th, 11th, 13th, 14th, 18th, 20th, 21st, 25th, 27th, and 28th.
December – 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, 9th, 11th, 12th, 16th, 18th, 19th, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 30th, and 31st.
January – 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th, 8th, 9th, 13th, 15th, 16th, 20th, 22nd, 23rd, 27th, 29th, and 30th.
As a result, delays and cancellations are to be expected.
Ryanair is still contending with strikes in Spain after its cabin crew initiated a walkout in August – the five-month strikes will impact approximately 3,000 flights as crew walkout every Monday to Thursday, until January 7th.
Travelers are advised to confirm their flight status with their airline prior to their departure to the airport.
