Estados Unidos ya no exige desde el 10 de marzo un test negativo de COVID-19 a los viajeros procedentes de China, Hong Kong o Macao que lleguen por vía aérea en el país. Esta nueva medida entra en vigencia para los vuelos que salen a Estados Unidos desde la República Popular de China, Hong Kong, Macao y los aeropuertos designados a las 3.00 horas del 10 de marzo de 2023. En este sentido, la medida de exigir un test del virus negativo, vigente desde el pasado 5 de enero, también dejará de aplicarse a los pasajeros que vuelen a través de enlace con terceros países, incluidos Seúl, Toronto y Vancouver.

As of 10 March, the United States no longer requires a negative COVID-19 test for travellers arriving by air into the country from China, Hong Kong or Macau. This new measure takes effect for flights departing to the United States from the People’s Republic of China, Hong Kong, Macau and designated airports at 3:00 a.m. on 10 March 2023. In this regard, the measure requiring a negative virus test, which has been in place since 5 January, will also no longer apply to passengers flying via links to third countries, including Seoul, Toronto and Vancouver.
