España. Madrid. Se suspende la huelga de VTC.
El Sindicato Libre de Transporte (SLT) y las principales patronales del sector han llegado a un acuerdo que pone fin a las huelgas y manifestaciones previstas para los meses de junio y julio en la región de Madrid. Este nuevo convenio impactará positivamente en aproximadamente 17.000 trabajadores de cerca de 500 empresas de vehículos de transporte con conductor (VTC) en la capital española.
Los paros, que se habían programado inicialmente para los días 21, 28 y 29 de junio, así como el 4, 5, 6 y 7 de julio, han sido desconvocados tras la ratificación del acuerdo. Estas fechas incluían importantes jornadas laborales que hubieran visto afectada la movilidad en toda la ciudad, incluido el Aeropuerto Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas (MAD).
A pesar de la desconvocatoria, se aconseja a los viajeros mantenerse informado a través de las actualizaciones de las empresas de VTC y otros medios de transporte público por cualquier cambio inesperado que pudiera surgir a última hora. Se recomienda verificar el estado de los vuelos y los servicios de transporte al aeropuerto en los días previos a viajar.

The Sindicato Libre de Transporte (SLT) and the main employers’ associations in the sector have reached an agreement that puts an end to the strikes and demonstrations planned for June and July in the Madrid region. This new agreement will have a positive impact on approximately 17,000 workers in around 500 chauffeur-driven transport vehicle (VTC) companies in the Spanish capital.
The strikes, which were initially scheduled for 21, 28 and 29 June, as well as 4, 5, 6 and 7 July, have been called off following the ratification of the agreement. These dates included important working days that would have affected mobility throughout the city, including Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD).
Despite the call-off, it is advisable for travellers to keep informed through updates from VTC companies and other means of public transport for any unexpected changes that may arise at the last minute. It is recommended to check the status of flights and airport shuttle services in the days prior to travel.
