The security staff at Vienna Airport has announced a works meeting for Tuesday starting at 9:00 am.

Organizers predict over 600 staff will attend out of a total of 950. VIAS (Vienna International Airport Security Services) currently employs 950 people who carry out security checks on passengers and hand luggage around the clock.

Passengers are likely to experience delays and disruptions to the security check-in processes. Other airport security operations may also be affected

Confirm flights if booked to fly via VIE Nov. 22. Allow extra time for check-in and airport security processing.
