La Sociedad Nacional de Ferrocarriles Franceses (SNCF) ha reportado un «ataque masivo» que ha interrumpido el servicio de su red de trenes de alta velocidad, los TGV, impactando a tres de las cuatro principales líneas que operan desde París. Este incidente ha afectado aproximadamente 800.000 viajeros.
Las líneas de tren afectadas son las de los ejes Norte (que incluyen también TGV a Londres, Bruselas, Ámsterdam y Alemania), Oeste (Bretaña y Burdeos) y Este (Estrasburgo, Fráncfort). Por el momento se ha salvado de los «ataques incendiarios» la línea del Sureste (que incluye Lyon y Marsella).
Las incidencias han afectado principalmente a las estaciones de Montparnasse, Gare du Nord, conocida por ser la más transitada de Europa, y la estación de Lyon. La SNCF ha instado a los viajeros a posponer sus desplazamientos y evitar acercarse a las estaciones afectadas. Además, se recomienda a los pasajeros que verifiquen el estado de su tren antes de viajar y consideren rutas alternativas o medios de transporte, especialmente durante el fin de semana, que coincide con la ceremonia inaugural de los Juegos Olímpicos de París.

The French National Railway Company (SNCF) has reported a ‘massive attack’ that has disrupted service on its high-speed TGV network, impacting three of the four main lines operating from Paris. This incident has affected approximately 800,000 passengers.
